Do you move to/from storage units?
Yes. We regularly help clients move in or out of storage units to a new home or apartment. If you are moving your items into a storage unit, we highly recommend being exact about the size of your storage unit and getting advice from the service provider at the facility about how much room you require well in advance of moving day.
You will need to communicate with your storage comapny to get the access organised to your unit, most storage facilities have process for this; with this organised before arrival, it will ensure that we can offer an efficient service by minimising downtime.
Regardless of where you are moving to or from, you are in safe hands with our removals company.
Be prepared for your next move
We understand that sometimes you have to move at very short notice. We try our best to accommodate last minute moves when we can.
Whether its a home or office move, give yourself as much time as you can to prepare by minimising your items to be the ones that you will take to the next place, and either sell, donate or get rid of the rest. This is especially true if you are downsizing, you will eventually have to minimise so why not do it before the removalists come to your house.
Prepare the boxes and as much of the furniture as you can whether you are disassembling the furniture yourself or getting us to do it for you. If you can get the bulk of the items, in the garage, like boxes and pot plants, this will speed up the process. One little tip that we have noticed amongst families or individuals who have smooth moving experiences, is to be organised with meals. Moving is a big day and you will get hungry, having ample snacks to keep everyone from getting hangry will help the experience be more positive.
Large Items
Large, heavy items can be very difficult to move if you don't have the right equipment and knowledge about how to safely and efficiently move the item.
Large items such as pool tables, pianos, fountains and any marble items require specialised lifting techniques, that our staff are all highly competent and experienced with. The moving process for these items is different than the average house hold furniture, this is to protect the item as well as whoever is doing the lifting.
Our reliable loading techniques of these larger items will protect your item as well as our staff ensuring your items are delivered safely to your new place, our team is trained to go the extra mile in ensuring the safety of everyone and everything involved in our furniture removals.
